BOCA RATON, FL —  Looking for their first points of the season, Boca Raton Football Club will close out a three-game homestand as they welcome Naples United to the Shipyard at Atlantic High School on Saturday night.

Despite their 2-1 loss last week to Jacksonville Armada, Boca Raton FC poses a threat this week as they have bolstered their roster with the return of five college players that will look to make the difference. Goalkeeper Michael Stone, fullbacks Filip Guhr, Austin Lukasik, and midfielders Zach Gaudlip, and Noah Graziano will all be available suit up for Boca Raton FC for the first time this season.

Previous History:

Boca Raton FC is 2-0-0 versus Naples United, winning both the away and home matches they played last season. Boca Raton defeated Naples 3-1 on the road on May 27, and then defeated Naples United at home 3-2 in a comeback win after being with only 10 men on the pitch.

Players to Watch:

Filip Guhr – Boca Raton FC

Guhr has returned home from his first year of college where he is currently playing for the University of Pennsylvania. The 6″1′ freshmen was a varsity letter winner at Boca Prep International School, and played club soccer for Team Boca where he helped lead the team to four club soccer championships, including the Disney Showcase and IMG Boys Invitational Cup in Florida, the CASL Showcase in North Carolina, the Kukkonia Cup in Slovakia and the Potomac Memorial in Maryland. While at Boca Prep, Gurh was the recipient of Boca Prep’s Most Athletic Award, as well as the President’s Award in 2015.

Danny Tenorio – Naples United

The Naples forward notched two goals last week to help his club get their first win of the season the and will look to continue his scoring ways this weekend versus Boca Raton FC.
