Since joining Boca Raton FC, 19-year-old Logan Klipfel has become a fixture of Boca Raton’s backline, starting against both Miami United and Jacksonville Armada. The Lynn University center-back recently returned from his first year of collegiate soccer, joining Boca Raton FC in late May.
Klipfel made 6 appearances for Lynn University, with opposition teams scoring an average of only 0.5 goals per game in games in which he was involved. In the NCAA Tournament, Klipfel made his most important offensive contribution, assisting the game-winning goal against top-seeded Palm Beach Atlantic.
The right-footed defender’s strengths include his aerial ability and his reading of the game. Despite his right-footedness, Klipfel is confident with both feet.
After a tough loss to Jacksonville in the second game of the current four-game road trip, Logan Klipfel believes that Boca Raton FC can get back on track against Palm Beach United: “It is important we are completely focused and remain sharp for the entirety of the game.”
The Boys in Blue are back in Palm Beach County, so come out to The Benjamin School to support local soccer! Tickets will be available at the door. If you are unable to attend the game, you can listen live on Boca Chamber Radio. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
