Boca Raton Football Club is pleased to announce the return of Gabriel Bravo for the 2018 NPSL Season.

The left-back returns to Boca Raton after a successful 2017 NPSL season which saw the 20-year old appear and start in seven NPSL matches, playing a total of 575 minutes in the NPSL season alone.

“We are incredibly delighted to bring back Gabriel home,” said president Douglas Heizer. “Gabriel has been part of our organization since its inception and bringing him back for the 2018 season is very important to us.”

While at Boca Raton FC, Bravo won the 2015 and the 2016 APSL Championship as well as the 2015 and 2016 APSL Fall Tournaments.

“Bravo is a proven winner,” added head coach Jim Rooney. “He is a quality left-back, he’s dedicated, he’s committed, and that’s the kind of players I’m looking for to build our NPSL squad around.”

A local product through and through, Bravo played two years at Boca Raton High School where he captained the team to the 2016 State Championship.

Bravo was selected as the Palm Beach County Player of the Year as a senior after scoring 13 goals and tallying 20 assists. As a junior, Bravo earned first-team all-county honors after scoring 18 goals with 13 assists.

After a successful high school career, Bravo played his freshman year of college at Flagler College up in St. Augustine.

“I’m thrilled to be back with Boca Raton FC for the third year,” said Bravo. “Boca Raton FC is my second family and there’s no other team I’d rather play for than my hometown club.”
