A largely even first half ended 0-0 but both sides had chances to break the deadlock. A decisive moment occurred minutes before halftime when Beaches FC’s Colby Burnette was sent off for a second yellow card, reducing his side to ten men for the duration of the game.
Despite the man disadvantage, Beaches FC started the second half strong, but then Boca Raton captain Bruno Militz beat the backline on a counter attack which was scored against the run of play. The fifty third minute goal allowed Boca Raton to play with more freedom for the remainder of the game. Beaches FC had a few chances to equalize but Lorenzo Cava put the match away with an 87th minute goal to seal all three points for Boca Raton.

Boca Raton is coming off a 3-1 APSL victory over Inter United AC on Saturday in APSL action. Shadi Harb’s brace paced Boca Raton who have now won successive games in APSL and NPSL for the first time this season. Ukrainian International Edmar provided the other strike for Boca Raton. Goalkeeper Chad Pasmore had a spectacular double-save as the second half neared its conclusion, to help preserve the final scoreline for Boca Raton.
 
Naples last match (NPSL) 
 May 20, 2017 in Naples – Naples United 0-3 Jacksonville Armada U-23 
Naples lost its third successive NPSL Sunshine Conference match by a score of 3-0 to Jacksonville Armada U-23. The two teams played to the same scoreline a week earlier at Patton Park in Jacksonville. Jesus Coleman opened the scoring in minute 27 for the Armada.  The physical encounter saw eight bookings. Naples stayed competitive  in the match until an 82nd minute goal by Jacksonville’s Andrey Rosales. The Armada got a third thanks to second half substitute Chandler Castleman in stoppage time.
