On Sunday, December 20 Boca Raton Football Club defeated Alianza Miami 2-0 at Broward College to win the franchise’s second Championship in less than four months.
The Current American Premier Soccer League Champions participated in the APSL Fall Tournament and won the Tournament without losing one game.
Boca Raton got on the board early in the APSL Fall Tournament finals when Shadi Harb blasted a shot from 18 yards away that hit the corner of the goal and out of the way for Alianza’s keeper to defend.
Thanks to a solid match from goalkeeper Derrick Santos, Boca Raton was able to preserve its clean sheet and in the second half, the club doubled its score after Nicakardo Blake raced down the left side of the field and found a streaking Colby Burdette in from of the goal to put away his 12th goal of the year.
With the win, Boca Raton FC closes out its inaugural season with 19 wins, 2 ties, and 1 loss, two trophies, and a berth in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, all while riding a seven-month unbeaten streak.
